I love personifying animals especially foxes and birds. I made this piece using references to insure that these flowers where realistic. The Purple cone flowers are the ones with the purple petals and the orange ones are California poppies. The flowers sort of represent the foxes dreams. This was done in mainly watercolour and marker. To see this in full size click on keep reading. This original piece is 5" by 7" and for sale at $30 framed. SOLD.
Living on the West Coast, Belted Kingfishers are all over the place. Their loud and ruckus voices are almost always rattling over the water. The male has a blue and white breast, where as the female has a breast of blue, white and cinnamon. This is a female. This piece is 5" by 7" and for sale at $25 framed. SOLD
Over the last few months I have developed a bit of a tea obsession, so I have decided to draw "tea animals" that will embody certain types of tea. The drawings of these animals will not be for sale. I will post these creatures as I create them and you can comment ideas for paintings involving the different tea animals, if I use one of your ideas to create a piece then it will be for sale. This is the Oolong Tea-lizard.
